Mrs. Miranda Leigh Rust Turner, 30, of Cedar Bluff, and a former resident of Armuchee passed awayJanuary 12, 2013 at her residence in Cedar Bluff. She was a native of Longview, Texas. Miranda had been a resident of Cedar Bluff since 2001 moving there from Rome, GA. and was a homemaker. Miranda was a member of the Demarus Baptist Church and attended Armuchee High School.

Survivors include her husband, John Michael Turner to whom she was married on November 19th, 2001; a daughter, Brianna Turner; a son, Braydon Turner; her parents; a sister, Jennifer Evans Parris of Ellijay GA.;a brother, Cory Brandon Key of Adairsville, GA.; Grandparents, Kert and Dot Key of Kingston, and James Rust of Atlanta, Texas; Father and mother-in-law, Ed and Shirley Turner of Rome; 2 step-sisters, Jessa Stroud of Rome and Kayla Brooke Barnes of Rome. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Miranda will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2 o’clock at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church near Kingston, Geo. with Mr. Matthew Mealer officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery with Reverend Ralph Shook in charge of graveside rites. Miranda will lie-in-state at the church on Friday from 1 until 2 o’clock. Miranda will remain at Fred Talley’s Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday evening beginning at 5 o’clock. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in the name of Miranda Leigh Rust Turner at all Wells Fargo Banks.
