Mr. Milton Nail, 88 of Round Mountain passed away Monday January 15, 2013 at Cherokee Health and Rehab. Mr. Nail was a native of Etowah County. He was a veteran of WWII, was a mechanic for the Alabama State Highway Departmant and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Elrod officiating. Burial will follow in Longshore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 pm Saturday. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include wife, Goldie Nail; sons, Danny Nail of Crossville, David Nail of Sand Rock, Richard Nail of Rainsville, Jamie Nail of Cedar Bluff; step-sons, Claude Hooper of Sand Rock, Bill Hooper of Fort Payne; daughters, Betty Abernathy of Centre, Brenda Hasty of Cartersville, GA, Bessie Awtrey of Fort Payne, Helen Nail of Centre, Rose Helms of TX; brothers, Billy Nail of Etowah County, J.T. Nail of Five Points, J.D. Nail of Cedar Bluff; sisters, Helen Freeman of FL, Cindy Hardin of Wedowee, Barbara Burt of Fort Payne, Linda Wright of Collinsville; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Nail was preceded in death by wife, Mary Nail and step-daughter, Judy Crane.

Mr. Nail was the son of the late Noah and Bessie Hendricks Nail.
