The win capped a perfect 6-0 mark in area play for the Lady Wildcats, who improved to 14-4 overall. Sand Rock, which will host the Area 11 tournament, has now won its last five games and nine of its last 10.
Courtney Rowe added nine points, eight assists, three steals, two rebounds and a blocked shot for Sand Rock. Madison Smith finished with five points, nine boards, two steals and a blocked shot.
Sand Rock opens Cherokee County Tournament play on Friday against Spring Garden at 7 p.m. at the Gadsden State-Cherokee Arena.
In boys action, the third-ranked Warriors handed Sand Rock a 60-24 setback. Dakota Mabry led the Wildcats (8-11, 3-3) with 15 points.
Colin Edwards topped Westbrook Christian with 17 points. Evan Gregerson added 11 points.

DeKalb County Tournament
Collinsville sweeps Ider
FORT PAYNE – The Collinsville Lady Panthers improved to 15-4 on the season with a 69-34 victory over Ider to open the DeKalb County Tournament on Tuesday.
Christy Cox led the Lady Panthers with 28 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals. Savannah Boyles added 18 points. Kiana Ford contributed 12 points and 10 boards. Brittney Tidmore had nine assists and seven steals.
Collinsville takes on Plainview on Friday in the tournament semifinals at 7 p.m.
The Collinsville boys also opened tournament play against Ider on Monday and posted a 74-19 victory.
Deshawn Moore topped third-ranked Collinsville (18-2) with 19 points and seven steals. Daniel Bradford and Davey Posey both posted 10 points. Posey also came away with seven assists and five rebounds. David Hernandez finished with nine steals.
Collinsville battles Sylvania in the tournament semifinals on Thursday at 7 p.m.
