MR. LESTER MORRIS

Mr. Lester Morris, 88 of Hokes Bluff, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Cherokee Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Morris was a native of Cherokee County. He was a member of Hokes Bluff First United Methodist Church and was retired with Curl Concrete after 34 years.

Graveside services were held Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Steve Barnes officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hokes Bluff United Methodist Church. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mildred Brown Morris; son, Donnie (Kay) Morris, Hokes Bluff; daughters, Kathy (Benny) Woodson, Hokes Bluff, Jackie (Neal) Maddox, Southside, Patsy (Paul) Godfrey, Hokes Bluff, Linda Morris, Albertville, ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morris was the son of the late William Jackson and Eula Mae McCrickard Morris.
