Survivors include sons, Johnnie (Barbara) Steed of Powell, Jerry Steed of Cedar Bluff, Frankie (Kathy) Steed of Blue Pond; step-sons, Ricky (Kaye) Hairrell, Danny (Violet) Hairrell, Billy (Jenny) Hairrell, James (Tina) Hairrell; step-daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Hammond of Cedar Bluff; mother-in-law, Minnie Walker; special sister-in-law, Shirley Murdock; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hairrell was preceded in death by her husbands, J.C. Steed and Cotton Hairrell, brother, David Murdock; nephew, David Murdock, Jr. and grandson, Jonathan Steed.
Mrs. Hairrell was the daughter of the late Roy and Susie Tidwell Murdock.
