Mr. Roland Timothy “Tim” Clifton, 54 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Clifton was a native of Cherokee County. He worked 25 years at Cherokee Electric Co-op, spent several years on the Cedar Bluff and Centre Police Department and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2012at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm Monday. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include sons, Brian Timothy Clifton of Cedar Bluff and Courtney Clifton of Centre; mother, Jessie Price Clifton; brothers, Ross Clifton, Jr, Oliver Clifton, James Clifton, Walter Clifford Clifton and Charles Clifton; sisters, Jennie R. Smith, Teresa Hudson, Billy Jean Dupree and Loretta Higgins; five grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Clifton was preceded in death by his father, Ross Clifton and sister Ella Faye Dupree.
