Children’s Story Time, featuring fun with stories, songs, crafts and more will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Cherokee County Public Library.
Celebrate Recovery Program of Piedmont drug rehabilitation program meets each Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at New Beginning Church at 401 Anniston Ave. Dinner is available and dessert if furnished.

In high school volleyball action, the Class 1A, Area 13 Tournament will be played at Cedar Bluff School. Gaylesville plays Cedar Bluff beginning at 4:30 p.m., Spring Garden plays Collinsville beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the Championship will be played at 6:30 p.m. In Class 2A, the Area 13 Tournament will be played at West End. Gaston plays West End at 4 p.m., Westbrook Christian plays Sand Rock at 5 p.m. and the Championship Game will be played at 6 p.m. In Class 4A, the Area Tournament will be played at Jacksonville. Jacksonville plays at Hokes Bluff beginning at 5 p.m., Alexandria plays at Cherokee County beginning at 5 p.m. and the Championship will be played at 7 p.m.
