Go to the intersection of U.S. Highway 411 and Highway 68 in Leesburg, turn right, turn left on Cherokee County 36, to the intersection of County Road 36 and County Road 70, turn left and follow the signs.

The Cherokee County Public Library has on ongoing book sale. Get paperbacks for as little as a dime and hardbacks for as little as 50 cents or $1. The library is open today from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.. Call the library at 256-927-5838 for further information.

Cherokee County Celebrate Recovery offers support groups for chemical dependency, co-dependency, grief, divorce and loved ones of chemical dependency, and much more. Child care available. Call 393-2861 for more information.

Sharon Hill Congregational Holiness Church in Piedmont will hold a Youth Revival Sept. 21-23. Friday and Saturday night services begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunday services begin at 9:45 a.m. and 5 p.m.

In high school football action, Cedar Bluff plays at Jacksonville Christian beginning at 7 p.m., Cherokee County plays at Cleburne County beginning at 7 p.m., Gaylesville plays at Valley Head beginning at 7 p.m., Section plays at Sand Rock beginning at 7 p.m., Spring Garden plays at Coosa Christian beginning at 7 p.m., Piedmont plays at Cleveland beginning at 7 p.m. and Collinsville plays at Sumiton Christian (JSU) beginning at 7 p.m.
