Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 1 pm at the Providence Baptist Church in Leesburg with Pastor Michael Watters officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Gadsden Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Major is survived by her children, James (Gloria) Rooks, Kathryn Major, Wiley (Debra) Major, Chad (Regina) Major, Tara (Carlos)Horton, Florence Major, April Major, 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, siblings, Reba Kinnard, Evangelist Tinnie (Elder Bobby Jo) Fife, Eula (Terry) Dupree, Walter (Josephine) Rooks, Pastor Thomas (Connie) Rooks, Ronald (Leeverne) Rooks, Rosemary (Benjamin) Porter, neices, nephews cousins, and dear friends.
