Mrs. Irene Morrison, 84 of Centre, passed away Friday, September 27, 2012 at Cherokee Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Morrison was a native of Cherokee County, and was a Baptist by faith.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Ledford officiating. Burial will follow in the Weaver Family Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Saturday from 1 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include her sons, James Morrison, Billy Morrison, Phillip Morrison, all of Coates Bend, Tony Morrison of Centre; daughters, Margie Bouldin, Centre, Linda Crane, Cedar Bluff, Judy Sexton, Hokes Bluff; sister, Allene Baswell; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Rowe, and Sisters Viola Vines, Josie Weaver, and Alma Rowe.
