Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, at 3:00 pm at the Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church, Roberts Drive, Dunwoody. She will be placed in state at the church at 2:00 pm with Elder Edward Cagle and Elder Marty Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to the Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, c/o Union State Bank, 796 Cedar Bluff Rd., Centre, AL 35960. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Rd., Roswell, Georgia.
Mrs. DeLong is survived by her daughter, Janice Paulk and her husband, Jack, of Centre, AL; daughter-in-law, Betty Rose DeLong of Powder Springs; brothers, Harold Reece and his wife, Laverne of Stockbridge and Donald Reece and his wife, Jeane of Douglasville; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. DeLong was the daughter of the late Fonnie C. and Cora Lee Wilson Reece.
Mrs. DeLong was preceded in death by her husband, Horace DeLong and son, Kenneth DeLong.
