Mr. Robert Darrell Dodson, 70 of Centre, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Dodson was a native of Burnside, Kentucky. He retired from Duke Energy in Indiana, where he worked as a line specialist for 32 years. He helped build churches with the Cherokee County Carpenters For Christ for 25 years and was a member of Centre First Baptist Church. The greatest joy of his life, was to lead people to the Lord, which is why he relished Celebrate Recovery. He loved the Lord his God with all his heart, mind, soul and strength.

Funeral services will be 5 pm Monday, February 11, 2013 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Nation and Bro. Dale Rose officiating. Burial will be 10 am Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 pm Monday, February 11, 2013. Survivors include his wife, Marie Baker Dodson; daughter, Gretchen Dodson of Rome, and mother, Dorothy Kennedy Dodson of Centre.

Mr. Dodson was the son of the late Leonard Dodson.
