Mr. Priebe was a native of Michigan. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Cherokee County and was affiliated with the 7th Day Church.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Pinkston and Pastor Ray Lowery officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 3 pm Thursday. The family will accept potted plants only. Perry Funeral Home is directing. www.perryfuneral.net.
Mr. Priebe was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Priebe.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Carolyn A. Priebe of Centre: daughters Laura (Mark) McDonald of Barmpton, Ontario, Katrina (David) Price of Mesa, Arizona, Kirsten (John) Lents of Algonac, Michigan, Lisa Willhite of Harrison Township, Michigan: brothers; Ronald (Beverly) Priebe, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and very special friends.
