Children’s Story Time, featuring fun with stories, songs, crafts and more will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Cherokee County Public Library.
The Cherokee County Public Library, 310 Mary St., Centre, Ala. holds an art class from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for children ages 8-14 with Instructor Cloud Farrow. Children must provide their own 8 x 10 sketch pad and charcoal pencils. Call the library at 256-927-5838 for further information.

In high school basketball action, Sylvania plays at Collinsville beginning at 6 p.m., Pleasant Valley plays at Gaylesville beginning at 6 p.m. and Southeastern plays at Spring Garden (boys only) beginning at 6 p.m.
