The Cherokee County Commission meets at 10 a.m. in the Cherokee County Administration Building. The work session begins at 9 a.m.

Cherokee County women's non-profit club meets the second Monday of each month at the Chamber of Commerce meeting room located at the Gadsden State Cherokee Center next to Gadsden State Community College unless otherwise stated. Guest speakers or fun filled activities. Catered lunch provided for $7 each person. Time of meetings start at noon through approximately 1:30 PM. Free parking at the rear of the Gadsden State Community College. Newcomers to Cherokee County are welcome and encouraged to participate to meet other ladies and learn more about each other, our county, our businesses and our community. Our 2012 membership dues are $15 per member. Meetings are held each month September through May. Please join us. We would love to have you.

Centre Rotary Club meets at noon on the second floor of First Southern State Bank on Main Street in Centre.

Th Tiny Tykes Music Time is held at the Cherokee County Public Library from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

The Recipe Club meets to swap recipes at Cherokee County Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
