After firing an opening round of 55, Minnix and Bailey backed that score up with a 60 on Sunday. The twosome’s 115 final stroke count propelled them to a three-shot victory over David and Wayne Garrett (57-61 118).
Lee Morgan and Adam Weaver (58-61 119) finished third in the championship flight, just a stroke behind the Garrett brothers.
Steve Baker and Allan Keen (61-60 121) tied with Scott Hays and Stephen Keen (62-59 121) for the top spot in the first flight. A scorecard playoff gave the win to Baker and Keen. Hays and Keen’s 59 on day two proved to be the low round in the field on Sunday.
Second flight honors went to Eddie and Scott Robertson (63-62 125). The father-son tandem edged Tim Gamble and Chip Allgood (66-61 127) by two strokes.
In the third flight, Randy Kelley and Jamie Tumlin (67-65 132) were three shots better than runner's up Tim Hill and Donnie Reeves (68-67 135).
